40-Hour Radiation Safety Training

Format: Available Online and In-Person 


Designed for individuals seeking entry into the industrial radiography and nondestructive testing (NDT) industry, this comprehensive training program provides radiation safety instruction, industrial radiography fundamentals, regulatory awareness, and career-development resources designed to support long-term success within the field. 


Training is provided by Charles Lowe, Radiation Safety Officer, ASNT RT Level III, and ASNT MT Level III. Students benefit from instruction based on real-world industrial radiography operations, radiation safety management, workforce development, and NDT career advancement.

Tuition:


Course Tuition: $600

Company checks must clear prior to the start of the course. Certificates will not be issued until full payment has been received.


Online Course Information: 


Course Access


Students receive course access after enrollment and payment arrangements have been completed. 


Course Completion Time


The 40-Hour Radiation Safety Training Course is self-paced; however, students should expect a minimum of four days to complete the required training. 


Student Portal Access


Enrollment includes access to the Charles Lowe Student Portal, instructional videos, employment resources, AI Study Tools, downloadable resources, and additional study materials. 


Certificate Issuance 


 Certificates are issued upon:


  • Successful course completion 
  • Completion of all required course activities 
  • Verification of payment


Technical Requirements


Students are responsible for providing reliable internet access and a compatible device capable of accessing course materials and instructional videos. 


In-Person Course Information:


Class-Size Limits


 To maintain a quality learning environment:


  • Minimum Enrollment: 3 Students 
  • Maximum Enrollment: 10 Students


Deposit Requirement


 A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a seat in an in-person course.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to the start of the course.


Enrollment Deadline


Registration closes 10 days prior to the course start date or when the class reaches maximum capacity, whichever occurs first.


If minimum enrollment is not met, registered students will be offered the option to transfer to a future course date or receive a refund.


Travel & Lodging


Students attending in-person courses are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, meals, and incidental expenses. 


Course Policies:


Attendance Requirements


Students must successfully complete all required training hours and course requirements to receive a Certificate of Completion. 


Refund Policy


 Students may request a refund within 24 hours of enrollment, provided course access has not been substantially used.


After the 24-hour refund period has expired, tuition payments, deposits, and enrollment fees are generally non-refundable.


Failure to attend, complete, or continue the course does not constitute a refund.
